Hong Kong Series: FOOD! Part 1

One of the things I'm always looking forward to whenever I am in Hong Kong is FOOD! We didn't get to eat street food though or ate at this wanton noodle place that we always go to. We always eat at the same places when we're in Hong Kong. But I still enjoyed everything we ate!

Warning: Food Porn + Photo Heavy!

Our meals the first day.
Ocean Empire Food ShopNothing beats a warm Hong Kong style congee! If you like congee, this place has a wide selection. Their rice rolls and raddish cakes are so good too! Sorry not so much photos! It was our first meal and we were all starving!

I had Century Egg with Pork Blood Congee!
Plus a Hong Kong meal staple: Iced Milk Tea
We also had rice rolls with XO sauce!

Café de Coral
Caf
é de Coral is the largest Chinese fast food chain in Hong Kong. We ate here after shopping in Mong Kok. Café de Coral branches are almost everywhere in Hong Kong! They have a whole variety of food (over 100, based on their website) and it's budget-friendly too! You order your food and pay then wait at their counter for your food! (Don't have pictures, I was hungry, tired, and had to save seats for us!)

Patisserie Marion Crepes
This crepe place originated from Harajuku, Japan. This is much like our local Crepes and Cream or Krazy Krepes here. I was craving for something sweet on the first night that I bought a Banana Cream Crepe from Marion Crepes in the grocery. It was ok, Cafe Breton's crepe are much more yummier!

Viking [濰京坊]
We were done with visiting our relatives in North Point when we chanced upon this hole-in-the-wall restaurant! Based on my research, it serves Shanghainese/Sze Chuan food. They all look Chinese food to me haha!

Their food was so good! Everything we ordered was good. I like the Xiao Long Bao and the stir-fry eggplant!

Their menu has English description!
